Anna Whisler was born in Richland County, Ohio, 2 February 1833. She died in Bryan, Williams County, Ohio, 24 September, 1917.[1] Anna was the daughter of George Whisler.
Anna Whisler married in Richland County, 26 August 1856, David Cline. He was born in Richland County, July 1832, and died at Bryan, September 1899. David Cline was the son of George Cline and his wife, Sarah.
At 1860, David's 15 year-old sister, Sarah Cline, was enumerated with David's family at Blooming Grove. At 1880, a granddaughter, Pearl M. Short, ae 3, lived with the family. At 1900, the son Henry O. Kline lived one door up from his widowed mother (Ann C. Cline). At 1910, David's brother Alfred Cline (as Alfred Kline), was an "uncle" enumerated with David's son Henry Kline and family at Pulaski, Williams County, Ohio.
David and Anna (Whisler) Cline were the parents of five Children,
Mother. Anna's death certificate records her mother's name as "Don't Know." In the census of 1850, George Whisler was age 43, born Pennsylvania; his apparent wife was Elizabeth, age 43 (thus Elisabeth _____), also born Pennsylvania. In 1858, Richland County records the marriage of one George Whisler to "Elizabeth Weirich" (Ohio County Marriages), and in the census of 1860, we find George, age 54, enumerated with apparent wife Elizabeth, age 46. Several family members, apparent children have the surname Urich and/or Shingel.
