Omaha Daily Bee, April 14, 1909:

Mrs. Malinda Duckworth, aged 53 years, mother of Walter and Thomas Duckworth, died yesterday evening. The death occurred at 902 North Twenty-eighth street. She had resided in the city for about five years. Her sons are well known barbers at Twenty-fourth and N streets. The arrangements for the funeral will be announced later.^[1]
