Conyers/Connyers, also called "Connis," White was born about 1760. The year of his birth is estimated from his parents years of birth.
Connyers married Frances Roberts, the daughter of Elliot Roberts. When Elliot died in 1788, there was a division of his property by commissioners assigned by the chancery court of Amherst County, Virginia (the division document is dated 5 Jan 1795), which resulted in the assignment of a lot of slaves to Connyers (Frances, as a married woman, could not legally own property in her own right). Frances (and therefore Connyers) inherited Cesar, Phillis, and Fanny, also called "Fan" (there was another Fanny in the estate who went to Frances's sister, Elizabeth/her husband, James Thomas, who was simply called Fanny), who together as a lot were valued at $115.00. Connyers also received a horse, some stock, and cash from the estate division, for a total share valued at a little more than $161.00.
