Linda Lee (White) Towers passed away on February 20, 2015 at Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny, IA. Linda was born to Earl and Nellie White on August 18, 1938. She graduated from East High School in 1956. She was united in marriage to Thomas R. Towers on May 25, 1957.
Linda retired from the Department of Agriculture. She was a member of Ankeny First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her water aerobics and Perky Penguins, her CJ's Bagels coffee group and being involved in the Red Hat Society. Linda loved to shop, travel and go on many cruises throughout her life. More than anything Linda loved the Lord and being with her family and pets who held a special place in her heart.
Linda is survived by her husband of 57 years; Thomas R. Towers, children; Thomas S. Towers of DesMoines, Steven (Karen) Towers of Urbandale and Luanne Towers of Bondurant, Grandchildren; Kara (Joe), Laura, Scott, Alora, Elaina and Jenna, great-grandchildren; Gordon, Colby, John and Evan. She is proceeded in death by her parents Earl and Nellie White.
