Biography
Job White was born in 1850 at Somercotes, Derbyshire, England. He was the son of John White, an Agricultural Labourer from Shirland, Derbyshire and his wife Mary Ann Rowe/Roe from Grantham, Lincolnshire.[1]
Job worked as a Coal Miner at Underwood, Selston, Nottinghamshire. He met his future wife Mary Ellen Williamson there and they married in 1875.[2] They had at least four children: Job White (b. 1880), Henry White (b. 1883), William White (b. 1885), John Joseph White (b. 1886) and probably others who died as infants.
Job passed away in 1916 age 65 in Mansfield district.[3]
