Waitstill White was born Jan 04 1865, the son of William and Zilpha Ann White of Tusket Lake^{[1] [2]}

On October 9, 1890, he married Rebecca Trefry, who was born April 1, 1870, the daughter of Caleb and Maria (Hamilton) Trefry^[1], and had children^[3][4], including:

1. Maude White born March 10, 1895^[5]
2. Albert (Bertie) White born May 24, 1896, who married Louise M. Devine on March 30, 1921^[6]
3. Clayton Ernest White born June 10, 1897 in Springhaven N.S.^[7], who married Grace Hurlburt, daughter of Arthur and Winnifred Hurlburt in 1919^[8]
