Daily Times - Dec 6, 1904 Edward H White, formerly of Moncton, but for the past five years a resident of Cambridge, Queens Co, died on December 1st at the home of his daughter, Mrs Murray Fleming, Norwood, Mass, in his 81st year. Mr White was of Loyalist stock, and was well known throughout the province. He lived in Moncton many years and was a well known hotel proprietor. He conducted the old Queen hotel, which stood on the site of the Minto for some years and also kept the old hotel which stood where the American does today. He will be remembered here by many old friends. He was popular with the travelling public and was much liked by the patrons of his house. Mrs Frank Ramsay, of Sydney, is a daughter of deceased.
