Biography

Phebe White was born about 1726 in Taunton, Bristol, Massachusetts Bay, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Crossman) White. She married Abijah Wilbur, the son of Shadrach Wilbur, on 30 May 1744. Abijah died on 29 Jan 1776 and his estate was divided on 27 Nov 1778. Phebe was living then but died before 1 May 1799.

They had nine children all born in Raynham :^[1]

1) Abijah, b. July 11, 1745.

2) John, b. Jan. 11, 1746-7.

3) Levi, b. Nov. 29, 1750.

4) Solomon, married Martha ; he was living in Troy, N. Y., in 1791.

5) Phebe, b. July 18,

6) Charity, b. March 18, 1756.

7) Wealthy, b. Aug. 28, 1758; married Elisha Presbrey.

8) Elizabeth, baptized July 8, 1764; married James Bouldry.

9) Lucy, baptized Sept. 27, 1767 ; married March 81, 1785, Elijah Snow.
