Biography

Mary White was the daughter of George and Esther. She was christened in Allhallows on November 2 1823. ^[1]

In 1841 Mary was with her parents and siblings in Allhallows, Cumberland. ^[2]

Mary was married on 31 May 1845 in Allhallows to Jonathan Fawcett.

In 1851 Mary and Jonathan were living in Torpenhow with their children and Jonathan's father. ^[3]

In 1861 Mary, Jonathan and their children were living at Low Mill.

In 1871 the family were still in Torpenhow. ^[4]

In 1881 Mary was a widow living with her five children. ^[5]

In 1891 Mary was with Esther and Ann in Torpenhow. ^[6]

Mary Fawcett died on 11 December 1900 in Torpenhow.

Will 27 Feb 1901 Mary Fawcett, widow. Executor of will Wilson Fell. Household effects to go to son Joseph of London and dau Esther. Rest of personal estate to go to Esther for her lifetime, then to be split between other daughters Mary, Jane and Ann.
