Agnes (Whitehouse) Ross was born about 1876. She was the daughter of James Whitehouse and Grace Leishman.
Agnes Ross, her husband James and mother Grace arrived 1 Apr 1912 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada aboard the Scandinavian from Glasgow bound for Lougheed, Alberta. James was a baker. [1] In 1916, Agnes and family, all born in Scotland, lived in Asquith, Alberta (nearest place now is Fabyan). The census record contains a note that James did odd jobs around town. [2] James Ross, born 10 Jan 1876, died 23 Jan 1921 was buried in Killam Cemetery, Killam, Alberta. [3] Agnes and Grace remained in Killam where Grace worked as a cashier in a department store. [4] Agnes Ross died in 1957 and was buried in Killam Cemetery, Killam, Alberta. [5]
