Nanny was born Nanny Whiteley in 1811 Langcliffe, Yorkshire & baptised Nanny Whiteley on 8 September 1811 Giggleswick, Yorkshire the daughter of Thomas Whiteley of Langcliff son of Richard Whiteley of Askrigg by Judith his wife daughter of Geoffry Knowles of Foxup. [1] [2]
