Biography
William Rather Whiteside, son of James Armstrong Whiteside and Margaret (Penny) Whiteside, was born on 3 March 1812 in Eddyville, Pope County, Illinois.[1]
William R Whiteside was married Rachel Anderson, daughter of Jacob Anderson, in 1837 at Golconda, Illinois.[2][3]
William died on 10 April 1864 at Eddyville, Pope County, Illinois and was buried at New Liberty Church Cemetery, Eddyville, Pope County, Illinois. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
