There are two John Whitesides, this one, born in Warton Lancashire, England and Christened in Kirkham, Lancashire, England and another that lived in Lytham, Lancashire, England. There is significant room for confusion. The census records for 1841, 1851 and 1861 are inconclusive and could relate to either. The records above all appear to be related to the Warton / Kirkham John Whiteside. However they should be treated with care.
