Biography
William was born May 1, 1820,
WILLIAM J. WHITING married a niece of Dr. Pollard [Julia E. Pollard, m. April 3, 1841, Indiana,[1] who came from Cynthiana, Kentucky, with the Whiting family. They had seven children but no descendants. There names were: William Thornton, John Clem, Charles Webb, George Ann, Claudius, Beverly Waugh and Susan Adelaide.
William J. Whiting passed away April 2, 1881, and was buried at Liberty Cemetery, Cynthiana, Posey County, Indiana.[2]
