Biography

Eliphalet Whiting was Born in the Massachusetts Bay area his date of birth is not totally clear but between 1701 to 1710.

Eliphalet was the son of John Whiting and Mary Billings and Brother of Nathaniel Whiting, Mary (Whiting) Mann, John , Jerusha (Whiting) Slack, Jemima (Whiting) Wight, Zabiah (Whiting) Ware, Hannah (Whiting) Fisher, Abigail, Phebe Mary, John, Elizabeth, and Jonathan Whiting

Whilst the birth date is unclear, there are MA birth records that show either 1701, 1702, 1705^[1] and 1710. There is also a CT birth record for 1715. However the death record shows he was 67 years old when he died in 1777, which would place his date of birth in around 1710. Eliphalet Whiting was most probably born ^[2] around 1705.

He married Abigail Mann ^[3] on 7th March 1732 in Massachusetts, they had 9 children John Whiting, Timothy, Lewis, Abigail, Jemima, Jerusha (Whiting) Hancock, Lois, Eunice (Whiting) Ray and Mary Whiting
