Martha Louise Whiting, b. 4 Jul 1839, was the eighth child of Harriet (Breed) & Jonas Whiting.
She married 13 Jul 1864 Sterling Burton; they had at least one child:
- Charlotte Whiting Burton, b. 16 Jul 1883 @ Greenbush, NY; married W. Arthur Countryman, Jr.; resided at Hartford, Connecticut.
