Biography

Betsey (or Betty) Whitney was the daughter of Jonathan Whitney and Alice Willard.[1] She was born about 1722 (aged 68 at 1790 death), probably in Harvard, Massachusetts. No birth record has been found.

Betsey Whitney of Harvard was married to Phineas Wetherbee of Stow on 5 March 1740/1 in Harvard, Massachusetts[1] by Rev. John Seccomb.[2][3] Their marriage was also recorded in Stow, Massachusetts. Phineas and Betty had the following children born in Stow:

Betty Wetherbee died in Boxborough, Massachusetts on 5 July 1790 and is buried at North Cemetery.[6]
