Jesse was born in 1910. He was the son of Tom Whitt and Alice Whisenant. He passed away in 2000.
In the 1940 census: Jessie 29 is living with wife, daisy L. 24, son James A 4, twin daughters Mary & Martha 1. Jessie completed 3 yrs of high school and Daisy completed 8th grade.
