"Patty" PATIENCE MARTHA WIGHTMAN, who was the daughter of VALENTINE and REBECCA (JAMAIN) WIGHTMAN. MARTHA WHITMAN, as she came to be known, was born on 15 May 1759 in North Kingstown, RI. She died on 21 Dec 1841 in Hebron, Washington Co., NY.
