Death of Mr. Andy Wike Comes as a Shock to His Community
TAYLORSVILLE, March 3. - Mr. Andy Wike, 54 years of age, died of pneumonia at his home in Sugar Loaf township Wednesday, and was buried at Salem Lutheran church Thursday afternoon. Mr. Wike had been ill for only a week and his death was a shock as well as a great loss to the community in which he lived. He is survived by his wife and seven children. Three daughters are married - Mrs. Wade Daniels, of the state of Washington; Mrs. Tom McLeod, of Cornelius and Mrs. Swift Gwaltney, of this county; He is also survived by six brothers and two sisters. Two brothers - Messrs. Carlie and Terrell Wike live in Taylorsville.
