Author, Genealogist; Benjamin Franklin Wilbour III dedicated his life to the local history and genealogy of Little Compton. His book Little Compton Families may be the only town-wide genealogy in existence.
Mr. Wilbour grew up on the Benjamin Franklin Wilbour place in Little Compton. He attended Dean Academy in Franklin, Massachusetts for four years and graduated there.
His life work was genealogy, particularly on the Wilbour family.
