Elmer Anson Wilcox was born in March 1866 at New York, USA.^[1] He appeared on the census of 4 June 1880 in the household of his parents, Joseph R. Wilcox and Louisa Augusta (Woodard) Wilcox,^[2] at Georgetown, Madison County, New York.^[3]

He married Emma K. Powell circa 1891.^[1][4][2]
