Biography
Lived 6 months and 8 days. Daughter of Cephas & Mary Wilder of Carey(now called Monee)Township. She was buried on the Wilder farm on Richton Road and (present day)Wilshire Lane in Crete, Il. There was a family burial ground there but many of the burials were moved to Crete Cemetery before George Wilder sold the farm in the 1920's. My Step-Grandfather Luke Cosme, saved the stone when he saw the land being developed into a new subdivision. Cephas was brothers to Almon Wilder(the owner of the land she's buried on). Cephas & Mary settled west of Crete in the early 1840's on Exchange St. in University Park just east of the new Family Dollar store.
