Biography
Rebecca was born 5 March 1790. She passed away 3 February 1875. Rebecca was 23 years old when she married Samuel Oldham. She joined him as a missionary to Cornplanter and his family, teaching the children about the bible, english, and domestic skills. According to her obituary her father Samuel Wilie a member of the Presbyterian Church, died when she was young. She was received into the household of William Wallace , a ruling elder in the church of Upper Buffalo.[1]
