Biography

Genealogist Note:

We know that Fredricks Father was named Louis, thanks to Freds death certificate.[1] We know that Fredricks father was born in Germany and Fredrick was born in Nebraska, so the father imigrated sometime before 1890. We know his mother was Irish as the Census listed her as "Irish Free State", so we can presume he had been in America long enough to move to the MidWest and get a wife.

Louis Aloys Wilhelm has a similar middle name to Fredrick. His naturalization occurred in 1944 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and born in 1876. That at least places him in the midwest with a possible birth date. Although he naturalized in 1944, he would have had to have been in the United States for quite awhile before becoming a citizen, so I do not think that excludes him from being Freds father.

There are four Louis Wilhelms that immigrated here between 1880 and 1888. Any of them could also be the father, as it places them in the United States before the birth of Fredrick. None of them has the correct birth year to be Louis Aloys Wilhelm though, so that gives us five possible Fathers. Louis Aloys is still my main contender for Paternity.

I am going to place documentation of three of the men on the account, and then decide later if more sources come to light. I could not find the passenger information on two of the other men.
