Biography

Bertis was born in 1907. He was the son of Alonzo Wilhite and Carrie Myrtle Ricketts.

Bertis married Luella Sartain, 30 Jun 1928.^[1]

05 Sep 1997, Burial note: Bertis was in a different location until 1997. When they went to open the gravesite for Luella, there was not enough room so my mother and uncle had to find a new burial plot for both. Bertis was moved shortly after Luella's burial in 1997 so that they would be together. - SLW
