Mabel was born in 1877. She was the daughter of William Wilkin and Mary Teresa Wilkinson.
She married Richard "Purdon" Lewis who was her first cousin and they settled in Egypt, where he was contracted to dredge the Suez Canal. They had 3 children. They returned to England in 1921.
In the census of 1939, they were living in London. [1]
Richard passed away from cancer in 1941 and Mabel moved to the United States with her mother before the end of WWII. She passed away in 1970.
