John Wilkins was born about 1830.

John Wilkins was a miner at Two Mile Flat, near Mudgee, New South Wales.^[1]

As a widower, John Wilkins (abt.1830-) married widow Susannah (Green) Wilkins (abt.1847-1922) in Gulong, New South Wales in 1899. At the time of his marriage to Susan he had at least 1 daughter from his previous marriage.^{[1] [2]}

INDECENT EXPOSURE. ^[1]

Beatrice Victoria Garland (abt.1889-abt.1959) and her stepsister (daughter of John Wilkins) accused John Irwin of indecent exposure on 14 April 1901. It appears that her mother Susannah Wilkins, step-father John Wilkins and George James Garlandsought to entrap John Irwin due to their suspicions about him. Irwin was found not guilty.^[1]
