James was born about 1849. He was the son of Levi Wilkinson and Eliza Clark. He passed away in 1936.
Research Notes
James' birth year is likely 28 March 1849. He appears on the 1850 Census as 1 year old and the 1900 Census gives his birth date as March 1849 and the census ages 1850 - 1910 match the 1849 date. However, the date on his death record is 28 March 1848, but the informant was his younger sister Hattie's husband Martin Miller. Hattie had died 28 August 1936 only the month before James.
James appeared on the 1850 through 1910 Censuses at Eagle, Clinton, Michigan where he was a farmer with his father Levi. James has not been found on the 1920 and 1930 US Censuses.
