Elizabeth Carolyn Williams was born in 1931 in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida, United States. She was the daughter of Eugene Williams and Maggie Graham.

Elizabeth Carolyn White passed away in 2016 in Anchorage, Anchorage Borough, Alaska. She is buried in the DeSoto Field Cemetery in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida,^[1]

Her Obituary^[2] reads as follows:

"Elizabeth Carolyn Williams was born on March 28, 1931, to the late Eugene and Maggie Williams in Tallahassee, Fla., and departed this earthly home on Sunday, May 29, 2016.

A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m., on Friday, June 10, 2016, at Greater Friendship Baptist Church located at 903 East 13th Ave., with Pastor Michael A. Bunton officiating.

Elizabeth graduated from Old Lincoln High School. After graduation, she worked in the food services industry and subsequently moved from Tallahassee to Jacksonville, Fla. She began her studies in Nursing in Jacksonville before relocating to California.

After moving to Anchorage, Alaska, she received her certificate in Nursing. She worked for Providence Hospital until retirement. Elizabeth devoted her life to helping and caring for others.

She was a long time member of Greater Friendship Baptist Church, where she was a true prayer warrior. She provided love and comfort to many in our community. She loved cooking, baking desserts, gardening, dancing and providing for those in need.

Elizabeth was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Ronald V. White; daughters, Tamika Safiya Hedin of Tallahassee, Fla., and Sherri Randolph of Jacksonville, Fla.; and brothers, Eugene Jr. and Robert Williams of Tallahassee and Theodore Williams of Fairmont Heights, Md.; sister, Arleatha Williams of Basking Ridge, N.J.; five grandchildren, Donavan, Adrian, Austen, Amaia and Adeis; and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by George Williams, Zacharius Williams, Lucinda Williams, Andrew Williams, Lessie Williams, Rufus Williams and Anisa Nicole Hedin.

Interment will be at DeSoto Field Cemetery in Tallahassee, Fla. Arrangements by Legacy Witzleben Chapel."^[3]
