Biography

Wareham Williams was born 2 Apr 1720, and was a son (probably their sixth child) of Isaac Williams I and Sarah Denison of Stonington, Connecticut. His given name also appears as "Warham." His baptismal date was 29 Apr 1727.

He married on 14 May 1758 Rebecca Satterlee in Stonington, New London, Connecticut. They had 5 children:

1. Warham Williams II, b. 19 Feb 1759; married Anna Stanton
2. Charles Williams, b. 6 Jul 1760
3. Phebe Willliams, b. 1 Dec 1761; married Col. Isaac Williams
4. Asa Williams, b. 13 Aug 1763
5. Luke Williams, b. 26 Oct 1765

The death date of Warham Williams is not certain. The Denison Genealogy published it to be 31 Jan 1809.
