He passed away on 26 May 1924 [2] and was buried in Winton Cemetery, Queensland. [3]
WINTON FATALITY.
WINTON, May 26.
Late on Saturday night a well-known townsman, Mr. Hubert Malcolm Williams, was admitted to the hospital in an unconscious condition, suffering from a wound on the head. He had been playing cards in the back premises of Cameron's store, in company with Mr. Cameron and a shearer named Johnston. On essaying to leave the premises he missed the step and fell heavily about 4ft. to the ground. He died this morning without regaining consciousness.[4]
