She married Jonah Hallowell on 22 Apr 1823 at The Reformed Church in Willow Grove, Montgomery, Pennsylvania, USA. The couple had eight children: Elizabeth (1833), Richard C. (1835), Lydia B. (1836), James S. (1839), Mary (1841), Margaret A.W. (1842), Lydia B. (1844), Peter H. (1853). Three of the children died young (Lydia B the 1st, Mary, and Peter H). Margaret passed away on 24 June 1880 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, United States of America. She is buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, United States of America.
