In 1850 Robert was working as a Clerk in Williamsburg, Kings County, New York.[1]
In 1855, the family was living in Brooklyn City, Ward 7. They had been living there for 6 years. He was still a clerk.[5] They had a servant, Anna M Rilly from Ireland.
Robert died before June of 1860.
In the 1860 census, Alice was listed as Eliza, living in Brooklyn (Williamsburg Post Office). She was working as a seamstress, with Emily and William.[6]
Alice was remarried to David Price Davis.

David Price Davis (findagrave 28415220) lived in Samaria, Idaho and farmed and married a second wife, Elizabeth Griffith. Alice Williamson Davis remained in Salt Lake City and continued taking boarders to support her family. [7]
