William Pinckney Williamson is the oldest child & son who lived beyond infancy, of Thomas & Sarah Williamson. Some accounts give that he was born in South Carolina & came in the move to Alabama with his parents. By some later census reports before his death, it states his birth state is Alabama. He is the only child/son of Thomas & Sarah who serve in the confederate army during the Civil War. He was in the 32nd Alabama Infantry Company I. He lived in the Fayette/Tuscaloosa county areas during his adult life.
