OBITUARY
MRS. L. E. TRELFORD.
The death occurred on Wednesday, 15th May, at her home, Canowindra, after a short illness, of Lydia E. Trelford, wife of Mr. William Trelford. at the age of 64 years. Deceased, who had spent the
greater part of her life in the Canowindra district, was a descendant of the Brown and Williamson families, famous pioneers of the Belabula and Lachlan River Valleys. Six members of the Canowindra M.U.I.O.O.F. Lodge acted as pall bearers as deceased had been an active member of high office for many years. The Canowindra Methodist and Cowra
Presbyterian clergymen officiated at
the graveside. A sorrowing husband
and family of three are left to mourn their great loss. The children are Mr. Clive Trelford (Public School teacher, Macksville), Vera (Mrs. H. Green, of Parkes), and Mr. Ralph Trelford (Hay).
