Eliza was born 23 February 1810, in Richmond, New Hampshire. She was the daughter of Gideon Willis and Milly Walkup.
Eliza's father Gideon died in 1813, and she is mentioned in his will. [1]
On 27 March 1831, Eliza married Josiah B. Cass (1810-1866), in Swanzey, New Hampshire. [2]
