Biography

Parley was born on 24 April 1902 to Ira Willis and Ellen Willis nee Oakley.

The January 1920 census^[2]shows Parley continuing to reside with his family in Snowflake.

Parley married Irene Willis^[3]on 5 July 1927 in Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona.

The April 1930 census^[4]in South Beaver, Flagstaff, Coconino County, Arizona.

The April 1940 census^[5]shows Parley residing with his family in West Aspen Avenue, Flagstaff.

Parley completed the U.S. World War II Draft Registration card^[6]on 16 February 1942. At the time Parley resided in Indian School Road near 19th Street, Phoenix, Maricopa County and worked at Clark Mason Douglas Gas Station, North 16 Street, Phoenix.

The April 1950 census^[7]shows Parley continuing to reside with his family in North Humphreys Street, Flagstaff.

Parley, a retired Automobile Mechanic with Morrow Motors and recently a Mechanic with the County Highway Department and late of Monte Vista Drive, Flagstaff passed away^[8]aged sixty four^[9][10]on 26 April 1966 in Arizona State Hospital, Phoenix from a ruptured aneurysm. Parley was laid to rest^[11]in Plot Section 2ML, Block 5, Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, Phoenix.
