After a protracted illness at Lisnaskea, on Sunday morning 9th May; James Willis Esq. Manager of Ulster Bank. He was deeply respected.

James & his wife Margaret are buried together at Holy Trinity, Lisnaskea. ^[4] In affectionate memory of James Willis Esq. For several years manager of the Ulster Branch Bank, Lisnaskea, This stone has been erected by some of his | friends as a memorial of their sense of his upright | character and amiable disposition. Died 9th May 1880 aged 47 years : Also Margaret Willis his wife; Died 16th March 1884 aged 50 years ^[5]

PROBATE - The Will of James Willis of Lisnaskea, County Fermanagh, Bank Agent deceased who died 9th May 1880 at same place was proved at Armagh by the oath of Margaret Willis of Coolagh Lodge, Drogheda County Meath widow the sole Executrix. ^[6] Margaret, his wife was the sole beneficiary of his estate; there is no mention of children in his will. ^[7]
