Biography

Charles was born on March 17, 1876 in the United States.^[1] Both of his parents were born in Germany.^[2]He married Victoria around 1906.^[2]

He was a member of the Niagara Lodge No. 375.^[3]

Charles died on June 13, 1929 at his home in Lockport and was buried in North Ridge Cemetery.^[3]His obituary says he was survived by his wife; daughters Naomi Wills and Mrs. Mable Lenhart of Lockport, NY; four brothers: William (Leboria, NJ), John (Ransomville, NY), Henry (Michigan), and Frank (Niagara Falls); and three sisters: Mrs. Bertha Forth (Michigan), Ida Dunker (Wilson), and Mrs. Emma Dusher (Niagara Falls).^[3]
