Biography

Aaron was a Friend (Quaker)

AARON WILLSON, the son of Ebenezer Willson and Jehoaden Schooley, was born in Sussex, now Warren Co., New Jersey. Married in Jan. of 1799, with the approval of the Catawissy Monthly, Pennsylvania, Society of Friends, to Belinda Willson, the daughter of John Willson and Elizabeth Schooley. In 1819, he and his family moved within the compass of the Cincinnati, Ohio Society of Friends. Parents of at least six children, whose names and birth dates were listed in the Hardwick, New Jersey.
