She was noted as born 1857-1858 in North Carolina. She was marked as not being able to read or write as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Matthew M Wilson, female Ro Ann Wilson, female Mary J Wilson, male William Wilson, male Satterfield Wilson, male Columbus Wilson and female Francis Compton.^[1]

Elisabeth Wilson was enumerated as daughter at Catheys Creek, Transylvania County, North Carolina for the June 9, United States Census, 1880. She was noted as at home, born 1863 in North Carolina and single as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self Matthew M Wilson, wife Rowan Wilson, son Columbus L Wilson, granddaughter Nancy A Wilson and sister-in-law Frances Compton.^[2]
