James was born about 1835. James Wilson ... He passed away in 1912. [1]
James was a Confederate veteran having served with Co. D, 24th Tennessee Regiment CSA. He and his family moved to Ennis, Texas about 1881 where he belonged to the James Longstreet UCV (United Confederate Veterans) Camp # 1399. He operated a singing school in Ennis in his later years. He and Margaret are buried in Myrtle Cemetery Ennis, Texas (story comes from Milton Copeland)
