Biography

Frances was born about 1764. It has been said that she died in 1793 but if she had children born 1801-1812, as reported here and in Ancestry.com that can hardly have been the case. [1]

I am certain that she is from the Marlboro/Marion, Dillon counties area of South Carolina. Probably called St George or St Fredericks Parish back then. Could also be called Marion District. The Wilsons were in that upper right corner of Eastern South Carolina, before that, Eastern North Carolina and Jamestown Virginia area.
