On 24 Jun 1880 at the time of the 1880 US Census, head of household John G. Wilson (age 53, born in KY) was employed as a Farmer and living in Delta, Texas with his wife Susan M. Wilson (age 45, born in KY), son Ruben P. Wilson (age 20, born in KY), son Joseph M. Wilson (age 18, born in KY), daughter Laura L. Wilson (age 15, born in KY), son Harry H. Wilson (age 13, born in KY), daughter Lucy W. Wilson (age 10, born in TX), son John L. Wilson (age 8, born in TX), granddaughter Mary F. Johns (age 7, born in TN), granddaughter Lucy C. Johns (age 5, born in TX). John G. Wilson's father was born in Maryland; Susan M. Wilson's father was born in Kentucky, and her mother in Virginia. ^[1]
