Thelma (Wilton) Weston was born in Victoria, Australia

Thelma Maude Wilton was born on 12 May 1922 in St Arnaud, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Gertrude Frances Wilton and Thomas Percival Wilton.[1]

She was the fourth child and second daughter of the couple, who went on to have eleven children in total. Thelma was the second last of their children to be born at St Arnaud; the family moved to Ouyen around 1924-25.

In 1943, she married Clarence James Henry Weston at Victoria.[2] They had 5 children: one daughter and four sons.
