Biography
John was born in 1812. He was the son of John Wimsatt and Mary Hagan. He passed away in 1892. When John "Jack" Wiliam Wimsatt was born in 1817 in Nelson, Kentucky, his father, John, was 32 and his mother, Mary, was 30. He married Nancy Ann Greenwell in Nelson, Kentucky. They had ten children in 21 years. He died on July 24, 1892, in his hometown, having lived a long life of 75 years.
