Samuel Winfield was born on 10 September 1854 in Geelong, Victoria, Australia, the son of Margaret Augusta (Nolan) Winfield and James Winfield.
He was a farmer on the Bellarine Peninsula, Victoria in the Drysdale area.
He married Esther Mary Hewitt in March 1878 in Victoria.[1] Their children were:
Esther died in August 1913.
Samuel remarried in 1917 in Victoria, to Ellen Cameron.[2]
Samuel died on 1 September 1933 in Queenscliff, Victoria, aged 78 years.[3]
