Biography
Joshua Winsor was born on September 17, 1709 in Rhode Island. He was the son of Joshua Winsor and Mary (Barker) Winsor.[1][2] He married Freeborn Olney on December 31, 1732. Together, they were the parents of Mary Winsor (b: 1733), Charles Winsor (b: 1736), Anne Winsor (b: 1737), Sarah (Winsor) Potter (b. 1739 m. Samuel Potter), James Winsor (b. 1743), and Jeremiah Winsor (b. 1743). [3] [4] After his first wife passed away in 1754, he married Abigail Smith on June 26, 1755. [5] Together, they were the parents of Freelove Winsor (1757 - 1836) and Elisha Winsor (1760 - 1820), [6] [7] He passed away on December 23, 1796. He was buried in Deacon Joshua Winsor Lot Glocester, Providence County, Rhode Island, United States. [8]
