Private Jesse Witt served with 14th Virginia Regiment (1777), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

Jesse Witt was born 11 May 1762 in Bedford County, Colony of Virginia. He passed away in 1842.

Jesse served as a Private in the 14th Virginia under command of Captain George Lambert, and Colonel Lewis. He obtained a pension for his service - Pension Number: S*W6524. [1] [2]

The DAR lists wife Alice Brown. Daughter Mildred m. Reuben Witt.
